Lisa Maria Leonard is an international showjumper from the west of Ireland. She started riding ponies when she was 4 years old and thats when the fun began.

Lisa's father Gerald ran his own breeding programme with Connemara ponies and from there Lisa began producing them. Lisa produced a number of ponies, mostly Conemaras before they were sold across the globe. Lisa produced Doon Laddie and he went on to win silver at the Europeans in 2014 for Ireland and was then sold to Denmark in 2015 and won Silver at the Europeans in 2016. Lisa and her father had a lot of successful ponies including "Monroe Lad" that was also sold to Denmark and later made in onto the Danish team for the pony Europeans.

Lisa then moved on to horses where she has had a very successful career producing young horses up the levels. With numerous wins on the international circuit, Lisa is building up a high profile on the circuit. Lisa is now based in Belgium, the centre of showjumping in Europe.
